Artist Statement

When asked "What do you photograph" my answer is I try to capture images that I enjoy, for if they don't please me, how ever can I make them please others.

Bio

My first camera was a Kodak Brownie Target Six-20. My father brough it home from the war and gave it to his son. I got great pleasure from that old camera, I photographed anything and everything. Once asked what piece of photographic equipment would I want if I could have any thing my heart desired, my answer was that Target Six-20. I have been a land surveyor for forty years, but during that time I have been "into" photography numerous times. About five years ago after a near death experience, I picked up an old Nikon FE and began my journey into the serious world of photography and there is no looking back!
